With the world more digitally connected than ever, it’s important to meet up and connect in the real world to celebrate our inner geek. Events like this encourage cross pollination of ideas between related industries and like-minded individuals. Cornwall has an amazing spread of digital disciplines, let’s celebrate them together.

The evening has four short ‘TED’ style talks sandwiched between time for experiencing the demos, enjoying the finest cornish beverages and locally made nibbles whilst chatting to like-minded people. The evening will wrap up with an Agile inspired panel discussion.

It is therefore of increasing importance that business owners seek competent, experienced, advice to enable them to protect their business, and secure its future. The reality, however, is that many businesses are underprepared.

We, jointly with Robinson Reed Layton and Towry would like to invite you to our ‘Protecting Your Business’ seminar where we will share our key insights and advice on best practice to protect your business and maximise its value. In particular, we will cover:

• benefits of well worded partnership and shareholder agreements;
• tax considerations around structuring, cash extraction and funding;
• insuring against different types of inherent risk and the available options; and

Well they don’t get any better than from our 4th floor landscape windows. You can enjoy the stunning vista whilst sat at your desk. Perfect for those moments of inspiration!

If you work as team or need to make a good impression to your customers then our 10 delegate meeting room is ideal for you. Separate from the main work space, the meeting room is set up for those important presentations with plasma screen and excellent wi-fi. If you need anything specific for your meeting such as catering for your customers, our staff will be happy to help you arrange this.

As well as a variety of casual and formal working options in our cutting edge open plan environment, the Workbox also has three individual self-contained offices. Separated from the main space with glass partitions, you can still soak up the Workbox atmosphere, but with the privacy of having your own office.

TRURO WORKBOX

COMING IN 2016: WORKBOX TRURO

Workbox Truro will be our second Workbox in Cornwall. This will be a space where you can rent an office or space to run your business without paying over-the-odds, a workspace club for freelancers and microbusinesses

The workhub is based in a three story former Regency townhouse backing onto the river in historic Ferris Town, it is perfectly located in the city centre, close to the train station and park and ride bus drop off. It will be a space where people who work for themselves can meet clients, collaborate with one another and access specialist support. It’s also ideal for larger businesses wanting an affordable base in Truro without opening a separate office.

WORKBOX TRURO offers three options:

  • use-when-you want membership
  • your own dedicated desk
  • small lockable offices

Its facilities include a large boardroom/meeting room, onsite manager, top quality Gaggia coffee machine, superfast fibre and an attractive garden area. Members don’t have to pay for business rates, electricity/gas/water, building insurance, fibre broadband or site management. Everything you need is included in the price.
